Cranial Prostheses
We provide virtually an unlimited selection of cranial, scalp and wig prosthetics for men, women, children and teens.
We understand that wearing a wig isn’t something everyone chooses. While some people may desire fashion wigs to change their hairstyle, others have no choice due to hair loss caused by chemotherapy, other medical treatments or illness such as alopecia, trichotillomania or other conditions.
We highly recommend that individuals come into the salon while they still have hair, if possible. This enables us to capture their original, natural look. If this is not possible, a photograph of the individual when they had hair is very helpful so we can match their natural hair color and texture. If neither is possible, we have so many options at our fingertips, we can work with any client to ensure they realize the look that is comfortable, easily maintainable and makes them feel their best.
Please note: Many people are not aware that their hair replacement solution may be covered by their health insurance provider. Many providers reimburse for full cranial prostheses due to medically-related hair loss causes. Although we are not able to process insurance claims or accept prescriptions, we can provide a super bill for submission to your insurance provider.
